The Munawar Files reveal that a match-fixer featured in an earlier I-Unit investigation is part of a powerful criminal syndicate and has been fixing international cricket matches since 2010.

Investigators obtained telephone recordings that show Aneel Munawar ringing in details of fixes to a notorious Indian bookmaker. The fixed sessions take place at the highest levels of international cricket and include matches involving England, Australia and Pakistan.

The investigation also discovers that the sport’s governing body, the International Cricket Council, knew about Munawar as long ago as 2010.
