Exclusive documents and testimony reveal the secret policies of the Myanmar regime toward its Rohingya minority.
The investigation draws on interviews with former and current military and intelligence officials, the internally displaced and advocacy groups. The I-Unit also obtained confidential Myanmar military documents, other government paperwork as well as an unpublished United Nations report.
Yale University Law School and the International State Crime Initiative at Queen Mary University of London assess the information gathered and conclude that the investigation reveals “strong evidence” of a state-led genocide against the Rohingya people of western Myanmar.
